Grandstand Policy

For your safety and the safety of others, the following guidelines and rules are in effect at Mahoning Valley Speedway.

All coolers, bags, and backpacks will be subject to search. Only soft-sided coolers 12″ or under, in all dimensions, will be permitted into the Grandstand Area.

Personal chair backs are permitted with size restricted to a maximum seat depth of 12 inches.

The Following Items Are Not Permitted For Security Reasons:
• Skateboards • Rollerblades • Bikes •  Pets • Alcohol • Glass Bottles and cans • Thermos Bottles Or Coolers
Soliciting • Firearms / Dangerous Weapons • Lasers

Juice Boxes, Plastic Bottles, Snacks, Etc. Are Permitted, While Glass, Cans and Alcohol Are Not Permitted.

Children Ages 14 Years And Younger, Must Be Accompanied By A Paying Adult When Entering And Exiting The Admission Gates. Children Are Not Allowed To Exit The Speedway Without An Adult.

Smoking Is Prohibited In The Main Grandstand Area.

Banners and Signs: We love it if you bring banners and signs to cheer on your favorite driver. Of course, your sign must be in good taste and not obstruct the view of your fellow fans.

Beer Sales: No beer is sold at Mahoning Valley Speedway nor is any alcohol allowed in the Grandstand area.

Big Wheel Races: Every Saturday night before the races begin.

Birthday Parties: Celebrate your special day at the Speedway. We can put together a special package for you. Call 570-386-4900 for more information.

Camping: Is permitted on a limited basis on site.

Concessions: There’s plenty to eat and drink in food and beverage stands.

Credit Cards: There is an ATM on site.

Customer Service: Have a question and don’t know whom to ask? Just come to the Front gate or the Ticket window.

Emergencies: Report emergencies to a Speedway employee in a “staff” shirt, a uniformed security officer or the Main Ticket Office.

Fan Conduct/Profanity: As a family facility, fans using abusive or profane language or who are deemed intoxicated will be asked to leave the Speedway. Please report disturbances to the nearest uniformed employee, security officer or the Main Ticket Office.

Group Tickets: Information on group tickets and seating is available by calling 570-386-4900.

Handicap Parking: Handicap parking in the lot located along the fence, between the main entrance and the pit entrance.

Handicap Seating: There are several Handicap friendly locations.

Internet: Pick up the latest race results, get schedule information on our website or Facebook page.

Lost and Found: The lost and found is located in the Ticket Booth.

Overnight Parking: Overnight parking is allowed in the parking lot. No services are provided.

P.A. Announcements: Time permitting; the Speedway will try to announce your message. Please bring your request (birthdays, weddings, anniversaries) to the Ticket Booth early in the evening.

Paging: Except in emergency cases, paging of spectators is not possible.

Parking: Parking at the  Speedway is free.  Please drive safely in the parking lot. A 5 mph speed limit is enforced.

Picnic Area: There are several picnic tables and open space for you to utilize.

Race Times: Most race night are as follows:  Weekly Gate Times: Early practice 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Pit Gates 2:00 p.m. Grandstand 4:00 p.m. Practice 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Qualifying 6:00 p.m. Please refer to the Speedway schedule for special events or holiday start times.

Radio Frequencies:

Rest Rooms: Rest Rooms are located on the concourse before heading down to the main grandstand.

Schedules: Are available in the Main Ticket Office.

Souvenir Stand: Located on the concourse on the main side, turn four.
